Lula Cucchiara is a queer multidisciplinary Latinx artist, photographer and creative film director with a love for storytelling. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Lula has called Aotearoa home for the past fifteen years. Her film, art and fashion photography background gives her work and allure and polish that is distinctly her own. Her clients include Mercedes, i-D, vogue, The Face, Paris Georgia, Kathmandu, Spark and many more. She has also directed projects for Benee, Ladyhawke and her first feature documentary film – Fiona Clark: Unafraid, which premiered at the New Zealand International Festival in 2021. Lula is passionate about sharing stories and doing so with integrity and expertise, regardless of medium and scope. Equally adept at handling pertinent issues and lighthearted content, all of her work has the power to move, inspire and entertain.
